I am a clay sculptor of the whimsy. Be it an animal,  buildings or people, I put a bit of a

unique of  spin into my creations. Not having any artistic background growing up, I decided to learn the art of sculpture upon retirement through Folsom Community College. The process has always fascinated me. I take a hunk of clay and turn it into something that makes people smile.

Animals are my favorite as I give them almost human like expressions. When making Brownstone buildings, I swear I hear the cacophony from the street noise of kids playing and masons building. When I create people, I take artistic license and exaggerate their features. I can’t seem to create anything that’s serious or cerebral. It’s all just fun.
