A SPECIAL EVENT AT THE MOTHER LODE SHOW

The show opens on Sunday August 2 at 1:30pm at the Shakespeare Club in Placerville on Bedford Drive. Please note this is our August PAA meeting. The Judge of Awards - internationally known artist and teacher - Johannes Vloothuis, will be presenting the program, discussing his approach to art and commenting on some of the award winners.
There will be a special demonstration by Johannes Vloothuis at 3pm following the regular program. This is a special opportunity to view this world-famous teacher as he paints.

TOO GOOD ESTATE WINERY ANNUAL ART SHOW
& WINE FESTIVAL
TooGood Estate Winery would like to invite artists in your association to participate in our annual Art and Wine Festival, scheduled during the month of August.
We will be advertising this event on 15 to 30 spots per day on KPFK radio, through email blasts, advertisement on our Facebook page, and of course through the word of mouth between our more than 3000+ members. Our winery draws visitors from all over the world, which provides a unique opportunity to display and market your artwork to a diverse audience.
As we would like to continue to support our local art, all proceeds from the direct sale of work will go directly to the artists themselves. We are hosting two artists each day, with a registration fee of $25 per day to reserve your spot. They will in return receive lunch with bottled water for one, and a complimentary bottle of wine to take home. We will be hosting artists every Saturday and Sunday in August. August should be a fun month, and we would love to have your participation.

PAA ART TOUR 2015
It is time to prepare for the fall art tour which will be held the weekends of September 26/27 and October 3/4. Please join PAA in this annual event.
This year, we have established a little smaller perimeter which is Eastern Placerville, Diamond Springs-El Dorado, Cameron Park-Rescue and Coloma. If you are not within those areas and have not already arranged to share with someone, we will notify you which studios are available. In the past we have found that a lot of our visitors like to see several artists at one location but single studios are certainly welcome too. This will be handled by the date the application is received.
This is a rain or shine event and the fees are non-refundable. The due date for applications is June 1. The application fee is $80.00 for members of PAA and $105.00 for non-members with the option of applying $25.00 of that amount toward membership. If after all the costs are paid and there is a reasonable amount left over, it will be divided equally and refunded to each artist based on the $80.00.
For more information and an application form, please . If you have more questions, you may also contact Valerie Bye at firstname.lastname@example.org or 530-622-4111
